Displaying the Task Log File

Now that the our task has been launched, we have a log file available that can be displayed from the  Z-OptimiZr Manager by selecting the task and selecting the right-click / Log Files menu.


 
For each task you can access the 10 most recent log files (Z-OptimiZr generates a log files each time a task is launched) from the sub-menus created dynamically under the Log Files menu.

By using the 'Open Log Folder" menu, at the bottom of the list of menus pointing to the the available log files, you can open the log folder (containing all the task log files) in Windows Explorer.
If errors occurred during the optimization process you will find specific error log files generated by the program in this folder.

Selecting the above menu opens the log file in the Windows Notepad:

In this log file, you can see, for each processed files:

The file name

The date-time at which the file was processed

The type of process

The original file size in KB

The optimized file size in KB
