Once Z-OptimiZr for File Servers is installed, the -OptimiZr for File Servers service is running and ready to schedule and process optimization tasks.

 
The Z-OptimiZr for File Servers service is a standard Windows service.
You can see it listed in the Windows Computer Management / Services applet:

The Z-OptimiZr for File Servers Optimization Engine Service

The Z-OptimiZr setup program does not create any optimization task.

You will need to create them (We'll see how to do this in the next pages and in the Step by Step Tutorial).

Until then, the Z-OptimiZr service won't process any file.
