The Z-OptimiZr Native Image File Optimization feature enables to significantly reduce the size of all Image and Picture files like JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP etc. The average volume reduction ratios obtained on image files are most often far over 50%.

 
"Native" means that the optimized files remain fully standard image files.
For instance an optimized JPG file remains a fully standard JPG file.
Thus, the optimized image and picture files can be opened directly in usual image and picture file editors or viewers, since there is no need for any 'decompression' of the optimized files.

The optimization process preserves the original image rendering quality.
When viewing original and optimized image files side by side users make no difference even when zooming in.

The image file optimization feature can be optionally configured to automatically resize images exceeding given dimensions (width and height in pixels), for instance HD (1920 x 1080) pictures, can be resized to fit into these dimensions.

This is the list of Image files that can be natively optimized by our Image File Optimization feature:
JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIF, TIFF, EMF and WMF

For files other than JPG files, the optimized file may not be of the same type. For instance, the optimization of a BMP file could result in an optimized JPG file.

 
The Z-OptimiZr Native Image File Optimization feature does not require Microsoft Office installed on the computer.
This feature has no dependencies towards Microsoft Office.
